• Mercury Retrograde turns direct July 1, at 24 degrees Gemini and the energies in the area of communication and connection will flow with a little more ease.

• With Uranus, Neptune, Chiron, Saturn and Pluto retrograde we need to honor our down time, to meditate, to find stillness from the monkey mind and settle into an equilibrium.

Full Moon in Capricorn July 12

A Full Moon always brings light and awareness into the specifics of its sign. For a brief period of time we feel our inner world of emotions more directly and intensely than usual. As one of the earth signs, Capricorn is teaching us about responsibilities, loyalty, and alignment with reality. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the archetype of the Wise Elder, The Prime Minister, the Strategist and the Father. These are all archetypes of power and maturity guiding us into a position of taking good care for others. However, whenever positions of power are achieved, they come with a strong potential for abuse of office because of self-serving interests, as we see in politics.

The shadow we need to look at and overcome is described by the principles of the controlling tyrant and forces in power. Remember we are still in the influences of Pluto in Capricorn and the transformative changes which need to happen.

 

New Moon in Leo, July 26

As you might know, a New Moon always starts us on a new journey for the coming months and sets the emotional tone, depending on the sign it is in. With a New Moon in Leo there will be a new dimension available to you to feel more passion and excitement in your life. Leo is the sign of creativity and action, the willingness of stepping onto the stage of life, believing in and applying oneself wholeheartedly. Leo describes the high potential of a good leader such as the archetype of King Arthur (from the movies).

Other evolutionary facets of Leo are the need to learn and experience joy and simply having fun. Leo is the home of playfulness, sensuality and the arts, all which can be very stimulating and healing for the soul.

Jupiter, the king of the gods, squares the nodal axes and shares extra powerful possibilities to bring your dreams to fruition when they are in alignment with the good for the most people. Attunement to your inner world, your own inner needs, empathy and compassion, creativity and inspiration, can be used for life enhancing experiences. Also with a square to Mars in Scorpio there will be many intense and fiery moments to deal with.

All in all: I am a big believer in the personal power point of true transformation. So instead of getting morose about the state of things in the world and our country, I choose to focus onto where in my life I can be the change I want to see.
