Death and the Wisdom Perspective of Evolutionary Astrology

I was gifted to be there with my father dying and it was the most precious experience of my life. It took my fear away of dying myself. I felt touched by the Divine and the sacredness of being. I could also feel his joyous presence for about 2 weeks after and it was really magical.

Now my uncle died a few days ago, sudden and unexpected. It brought up thoughts in me around how to live my life fully every moment in a way that I am ready to leave.

For me part of that is to live a fully examined life with a high level of self-reflection from the wisdom perspective of my soul. I meditate regularly and make time for contemplation and stillness. Some highly precious insights are only available when we enter the Bardo of death and we know death is approaching. Since we don’t know if it will be a sudden death or a death we see coming maybe because we are sick, it seems wise to do that high end soul work ahead of time as much as we are able to.

I believe the point of living is to grow into higher states of self-realization, waking up to higher dimensions of our true divine nature.

Knowing your personal karmic destiny and purpose can be extremely helpful in living your most conscious life and actions available to you. In many spiritual traditions it is suggested to live life as fully as if it is your last day on earth. That is excellent advice but is seldom followed.  I feel inspired to recommit myself to follow that path.
